Formative Years, located in west Ames at 4510 Todd Dr., opened in the fall of 1986. Our goal is to provide a professional early childhood education program for 2 – 5 year-olds, as well as an after-school and all-day summer program for kindergarten through 6th graders. Our program emphasizes the growth of the child in all areas of development and is enhanced by our professional and caring staff. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
